Second finalist for the ESL Pro Series XIV Germany Grand Final has been found as Alternate won a close one against n!faculty.
Alternate should however get a wakeup call on the first map begin nuke. Alternate did even start off by playing a fairly well T side, taking eight rounds. This would however not help them, as n!faculty played a even better T side, taking nine rounds to one, winning 16-9.
Moving on to second map dust2, Alternate once again lacked behind to begin with. But great T play secured them the second map with a 16-13 score, forcing the third and all deciding map.
This should be train, a map where Alternate has before proven that they know to play it right. Starting as T, taking five rounds, Alternate had a good starting point, when switching to CT. They did do it in style and with a Benjamin "paN" von Mulert not dying in the second half, Alternate could take eleven rounds to nothing, winning 16-10 and 2-1 overall.
